Em & AJ Part 2

Em posted more photos, and of course I couldn’t help but share some with you! Em & AJ make such a cute couple. They have a great energy that makes them so much fun to be around. I heard that they busted some groovy moves during their first dance, and I can’t wait to see the video!

In the previous post, I posted a heartwarming photo of Em & her mom-in-law. Now here’s a cute photo of AJ with his dad-in-law.

Em & AJ Part 1

This post is very special and close to my heart. Last October, my good friend, Em married the love of her life, AJ. I wish I could’ve been there to celebrate with them, but seeing the photos gave me a sneak peek at their momentous day in San Diego.

Em looked sooo lovely! I couldn’t help but tear up when I saw the photos of her walking down the aisle, looking so emotional. I bet their vows were a tearjerker, too!

I have only been friends with Em for a couple of short years, but it wasn’t easy watching AJ (who permanently lives in the US) fly her away from us. What made it easier, though, was the fact that AJ is a really great guy who loves my friend so very much, who makes her laugh, who cares for her, and who will always make her happy.

Now, on to the photos!

I love, love, love this photo of the bride with her mom-in-law!

 Congratulations, Em & AJ! ♥

Sesame Street Cake Pops

I’ve always found Bakerella’s Cake Pops oh so cute, but these are beyond cute! In honor of Sesame Street’s 40th Anniversary, she made Oscar, Cookie Monster, Elmo, & Big Bird Cake Pops. Knowing how much work she put into these, I don’t think I’d have the heart to take a bite off of an Elmo Cake Pop (my favorite).

Bakerella3
You’d think she’d already done a great job, but nope, she felt that something was still missing. What, you ask?

She made teensy weensy cookies for Cookie Monster!

I can only wish that I had her creativity and patience, but I’d settle for the pleasure of ogling at these photos. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again -- Bakerella, you are awesome!

Napa Valley Celebrations

I had my breath knocked out of me the moment I laid eyes on these photos. My heart stopped, then started beating again with a renewed eagerness… my heart had found its new desire -- to get a chance to work with the person behind Napa Valley Celebrations.

Traci, may I come and work with you? Please, please, pretty please?

Weekly Snippet #7

I’m back. Disconnecting from the world wide web for a week has been good, but I sure missed my blog and my daily blog reads. I’m excited to go back to scouting for new wedding inspirations. Yay!

By the way, I’ve just installed the Windows Live Writer and this is my first post using the software. I’m finding it pretty nifty, though it will take some getting used to.

It’s good to be back!

The Story of Nikki & Nick

I may have died and gone to invitation heaven.

I had mentioned before that I wanted a storybook invite for my wedding. And my oh my, just look at this. Nikki & Nick decided to share their story with their guests by giving out their very own storybook. It took a lot of hard work, but it clearly paid off. Know what else pays off? Having talented friends (to write the story and make the illustrations.)

The bride was generous enough to write down a detailed DIY guide if you're up for the challenge of creating your own storybook invite.
